You've seen him put up with Janice on Oxygen's The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency. He was working as a "manny" when he signed on for the agency and show. Since then he's risen through the ranks of the modeling industry, having shot for Andrew Christian Underwear, Abercrombie & Fitch, and appearing in high fashion editorials and racking up some serious runway mileage. He's also a nationally ranked championship diver AND accomplished jazz musician. A true renaissance man! Is there nothing he can't do?

He now joins our Page Parkes model and talent board. We caught up with him quickly on email...
WHAT WAS WORKING WITH JANICE DICKINSON LIKE?Janice Dickinson is one of my dearest friends and is one of the sweetest women I have ever met in the modeling industry. Since day one, I have never felt intimidated by her explosive personality or her level of success. She happens to be one of my biggest fans and supporters in everything I do, not just modeling, and the feeling is very mutual. She is VERY smart and knows how to sell anything she is involved in. People pay attention to her. very few people on this earth are as raw and honest as Janice. The supposed “daggers” she throws at people come from a genuine place, which is why so many (like myself) respect her business sense.
WHAT'S MORE STRESSFUL: REALITY TV, MODELING, BEING A MANNY?For me, all three of these things have been more enjoyable than anything. Life is too short to be stressed out!! I chose to be in a business that I absolutely love being a part of and learning about. Every day is a balancing act for me because of this very busy schedule. But instead of choosing to be stressed out (emotions are always an expressed and conscious choice you make), I choose to laugh at myself and yet stay focused on achieving my goals.
FAVORITE MODEL MOMENT SO FAR?One of my favorite model moments is when I get to work with my close friend Tony Duran. To me, he’s by far the best and most talented high fashion and celebrity photographer in the world. I’ve had the pleasure of shooting a couple of campaigns and international editorials with him and every time I get the most amazing pictures. One very key thing Tony taught me early in my career is to learn how to take direction without thinking about it. What this means is if you’re looking a certain way and the photographer gives you the littlest bit of direction, (slight smile, tilt head up or down, slightly move hand to right or left, ect.) you keep the facial expresion or thought you have and just do it. It’s not about finding the still pose, but all of the little in betweens to get there. Slight and slow movements with every snap shot is the ticket. Trusting your thought(s) and the photographer’s talent and direction is always win/win.
HOW DO YOU STAY IN SHAPE? WHAT DO YOU DO TO DE-STRESS?My workout routine consists of lifting weights 5 to 6 days per week, no more than 1 hour 15 minutes per session. I also like to play about 30 to 45 minutes of basketball immediately after my workout. I also eat 5 to 6 small meals per day. My diet mostly consists of oatmeal, cereal, chicken, fish, yogurt, veggies, fruit, protein shakes, and the occasional red meat. I will eat one very unhealthy meal per week just to exercise my metabolism and also reward myself for staying so disciplined. The unhealthy meal is anything from burgers, fries, and a shake to cheesecake, chocolate, ice cream sundaes, ect. It’s good for my spirit!!!
