WILL JUST SIGNED WITH OSBRINK! Osbrink reps bright stars like Dakota Fanning. This is our second placement with the hot LA talent agency (Dulce Rosales signed last month).
We caught up with Will, who just moved to LA only a month ago, for a quickie Q&A:
WHEN DID YOUR ACTING CAREER START?
I started acting after I saw the movie Hook with Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman when I was 5 years old. I adapted the film for the stage, recast it with all the other neighborhood kids, completely changed the story and after some very chaotic rehearsals put on my own production on the front porch of my parents' house. I gathered the entire neighborhood in lawn chairs so we had a pretty good sized audience. Actually, before all that I wore a cape everyhwere I went and pretended I was batman so I guess I've really been acting since I was 3. In my first school production, I played the murderer in Edgar Allen Poe's Tell Tale Heart in the 8th grade.
YOU'VE BEEN IN LA FOR ONLY A SHORT PERIOD. HOW'S IT GOING?
LA is exciting! It's just how I imagined it would be. Everyone seems to be working hard on something they believe in. Everyone I meet is very passionate about what they're doing. I also do puppet shows on Venice Beach. It's already become the place I go to clear my head (and make some cash while I'm at it).
HOW DID YOU GET SIGNED WITH OSBRINK?
I've heard that so many people come who come out here have a lot of trouble getting representation. Page Parkes really helped me jump a hurdle on that one. I don't even know how I would have gone about it without (PP talent director) Guillermo Perez getting me an interview with Osbrink as soon as I arrived in LA. It happened pretty quickly. When he called me and said they wanted to sign me I couldn't believe it. But the work has just begun. Osbrink wants me to enroll in some pretty rigorous workshops out here. So we'll see what happens.
WHAT'S NEXT ON YOUR PLATE?
My plan is to work hard. I have the opportunity to do what I love and I'm going to make the best of it. I'm actually signing my contracts on Wednesday of next week so no gigs yet--just the puppet show and a short film I'm working on with some friends.
FAVORITE PROJECT SO FAR?
An NFL commercial filmed by Emmanuel Lubezki. He was the Director of Photography on two of my favorite films, Children of Men and Y Tu Mama Tambien.

LARRYDEBORDE
YOUR MOM'S HAIRDRESSER
This is wonderful news! But Will might want to change his last name since NOBODY seems to be able to spell it right...
Yay! Next stop: mega-stardom.
